When this medical procedure is applied the tooth’s root and neighbouring tissues are already infected, causing pain.<\/p>\n

This is the speciality of Dentistry that aims to preserve the tooth by preventing, diagnosing, treating and controlling alterations to the pulp and peri-root tissues. The pulp space is prepared and cleaned and then filled with a biocompatible material. This helps to seal the dental canals in order to prevent bacteria from entering the adjacent hard tissues.<\/p>\n
