The paediatrician treats the physical and emotional health of children and adolescents giving counselling and parental guidance for permit to enable healthy growth and development.

Paediatricians carry out regular examinations to identify situations that require the intervention of other clinical areas (as is the case of Psychology or Otorhinolaryngology). It acts in an interdisciplinary way to fully understand patients’ state of health.
